Ryan Reynolds' latest movie, "Mississippi Grind," co-starring "Bloodlines" Ben Mendolsohn, chronicles two men's road trip down the Mississippi river laying it all on the line for a chance to win the prize of a lifetime.
One of the DVD/Blu-ray extras features, which Zap2it is debuting exclusively ahead of the release, Reynolds and writer/director Ryan Fleck talking about the actual Alabama dog track where they filmed many of the movie's scenes.

"I can't even imagine the location scouting they did for this movie," says Reynolds. "Where we are right now, this dog track in Mobile, Alabama -- you just can't build something like this. The limited budget really helps in a situation like this because you get things that you would have never gotten had you been given too much money to make the movie."
Fleck adds that many of the background players weren't even actors.
"We had actual people that would go to that dog track and hang out and they were betting on actual races as we were shooting," says Fleck. "So we had some extras in there, but for the most part they were real people who were at that dog track who didn't care about us making a movie, they just wanted to root for their dog to win. I just thought it was really amusing when I look in the background of that scene, I see people who have zero interest in Ryan Reynolds or Ben Mendelsohn, they just really need their dog to win."

Reynolds says it was a fun surprise to get to interact with "extras" who aren't actors at all.
"It was really interesting, to have that opportunity to mingle with those people in those scenes and interact with them. There's a lot of ad-libbing that goes on, there's a lot of moments that are totally unplanned that just are beautiful surprises," says the "Deadpool" star. "Acting can be a difficult job, but by and large anyone can do it, they just don't realize it yet. You get a lot of people in this movie that aren't actors that are really incredible."
The "Mississippi Grind" DVD/Blu-ray drops Tuesday, Dec. 1.
The singer said after the one year relationship came to an end she wanted to "crawl into bed and die".

Despite Calvin moving on with Taylor Swift, Rita has once again spoken out about her relationship with the producer and explained that she was heartbroken when they came to an end.
"It was initially a really love-y dove-y album because that's where I was, but then I obviously didn't feel like that". The 25-year-old X-Factor judge who dated the 31-year-old DJ for about a year revealed it was hard to move on after their break up.
Saying she was "excited" about the song and performing, Rita enthused: "It's the first time I've gone back to my Hot Right Now routes, that's how I got into the game".
"There was a reason why I split up with him", Rita said.
In the rest of her editorials, we see Rita posing for the camera, showing off her fabulous makeup and hair.
